hikingThere are numerous trails in Scottsdale. Most of them are easy, and some require some experience. All of them are stunning beautiful!

La Mirada Park has a desert botanical nature trail.

McCormick Railroad Park has a nature trail (also known as the Arboretum at the southeast corner of the park) which displays low-water use plants.

McDowell Mountain Ranch Park's trailhead is located at the southwest corner of McDowell Mountain Ranch Road and 104th Street. It is a paved lot located east of the Desert Canyon Elementary School. From this point, hikers and bicyclists can proceed eastward following a trail into the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

McDowell Sonoran Preserve has mountains linking open spaces in Scottsdale with open space in adjacent communities and with the Tonto National Forest and the Maricopa County Regional Park.


 

Mescal Park has a trail for hikers and horseback riders. The path around the park is mile.

Mountain View Park has a 12 station fitness trail.

Nature Park has a nature trail that runs along the Arizona Canal.

Pinnacle Peak Park has a trail for hiking, horseback riding and rock climbing.

Rio Montana Park has a trailhead with access next to the wash.

Scottsdale Ranch Park has a 12 station exercise course.

Stonegate Equestrian Park has a nature trail.
