The number of homes currently for sale in the Valley are:  23,705 - compared to October of 20,415. 

There are 8,868 homes currently under contract compared to October of 9,678.

6,285 homes sold last month in the Valley compared to October of  6,353.

THE MARKET:

The foreclosure market is all but over.  A longer-term concern, one that will grow over the next year, is the concern of inflation and its affect on interest rates.  Significant rises in interest rates will affect the speed at which the housing market recovers.

The inventory had a 16 percent increase since October 2013. The market has slowed since summer and will be a “wait and see” as to the direction Buyers will take this Fall and Winter.
